Predictive Maintenance for Multi-Stage Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing Systems

We are excited to share our past project sponsored by MxD (Manufacturing x Digital) — “Predictive Maintenance for Multi-Stage Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing Systems.”
This collaborative effort, led by the Center for Intelligent Metrology & Sensing at the University of Cincinnati, in partnership with Kent Displays Inc. and Predictronics Corporation, aimed to develop and deploy AI-driven predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies for roll-to-roll manufacturing systems.
The project focused on building a systematic, data-driven PdM framework to enhance equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve overall production efficiency — paving the way for smarter, more resilient manufacturing operations.
