The smiling faces on the first pages belong to two outstanding PhD students from my lab, recipients of the Best Paper Award at APC-SM 2023.
The article provides a comprehensive overview of our multi-year collaboration with Applied Materials, focusing on fault detection and classification, virtual metrology, and PdM in semiconductor manufacturing.
A special note (in the last section) highlights our ongoing research effort, sponsored by NIST, addressing the NIST roadmap. This endeavor is dedicated to identifying key challenges and opportunities aimed at revitalizing semiconductor manufacturing in the United States!
