New Research Award: Enabling Vision–Language–Action Reasoning for Optical Inspection and Predictive Maintenance in Manufacturing Systems

I am excited to share that our team has received a new research award from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for our project:
“Enabling Vision–Language–Action Reasoning for Optical Inspection and Predictive Maintenance in Manufacturing Systems”

This project will advance AI-enabled manufacturing by connecting real-time factory data with knowledge-grounded reasoning to support defect identification, remediation, and predictive maintenance.
