Our student Tarek Yahia defends his MS on enhancing Human-Robot Collaboration Safety

🔬 Congratulations to our student Tarek Yahia on the successful defense of his M.S. thesis! His thesis, “RGB-D Sensing Framework with Real-Time Digital Twins for Human-Robot Collaboration Safety” introduces a novel vision system that constructs detailed 3D virtual representations of humans and robots using a single RGB-D sensor. This framework enables real-time safety monitoring for predictive collision avoidance in collaborative manufacturing environments.
